Brightwells' always seems to manage to amass an amazing - and accessable - collection of cars for its auctions, and July's is no exception, especially if you like British classics. It has a fascinating 1948 Invicta Black Prince Drophead that has just emerged from 30 years in storage. One of only 16 made. It has an interesting Brockhouse Hydro-Kinetic Turbo Transmitter gearbox, mated to a Meadows 3-litre twin cam engine. Estimate is £12k-16k.
Also on the books is a desirable 1958 Jaguar XK150S 3.4 Roadster that has been in the same ownership since 1977. Estimate £70k-80k. Not to mention the mint restored 1970 Porsche 911S at £53k-58k.
