Now in its 34th year, the Antwerp Classic Salon is established as one of Europe’s leading shows – it’s accessible from much of Europe, and timed perfectly for classic car enthusiasts itching to shake off the winter blues.
The theme for this year’s show is an all-embracing history of the car, as it’s 125 years old in 2011. This is very much an international show, with 350 exhibitors from ten countries already confirmed – including London-based Frank Dale & Stepsons and Hurst Park Autos, along with LMB which is will be bringing a fine selection of pre-war car Lagondas and Rileys. As well as European cars, the US scene is healthily represented with a huge line-up of Cadillacs and Packards from the ’30s to ’50s Fords and Chevys. More than 200 autojumble stands will feature new and used parts, and there’s a market for private sellers too – plenty to spend your money on, then. More information at www.siha.de.
