With Jensen back on the new car price lists (see news), it’s good to know that you can still buy great examples of the Interceptor for not a lot of money. This 1976 MkIII J Series offered by Brightwells is a case in point. It was especially prepared by Jensen for the 1976 Irish Motor Show, so has a good factory history. Adding to its appeal is that it was restored by marque specialist Cropredy Bridge Garage in 1999, and subsequently refurbished by VFS Southampton in 2007-2009. In total, that’s £60k spent on restoration for an estimated sale at the auction of £14,000-16,000. Well worth a look.
