H&H has announced the last minute entry of a complete collection of replica aluminium body panels, once fitted to a Ferrari 166 chassis. The sale will take place on the 1st October in Buxton, Derbyshire.

The striking two-seater coachwork shall be offered without reserve and experts estimate that only 39 cars were ever produced by Ferrari between 1948 and 1950. The history of the Ferrari 166 is fascinating as the Ferrari works 166 cars achieved a memorable hatrick of victories that includes the Mille Miglia in 1948 & 1949, the Le Mans 24 Hours in 1949 and the Targa Florio.
