The lots are looking good at Barons' next sale on 23 March for those who appreciate great design. Early consignments are headed by a 1965 Lincoln Continental, which is blessed with a body that is described as 'arrow straight'. When it was stripped back for the full repaint last year, the body shop could find no rust or damage.
In 2009 the car completed a 1000-mile round trip to Le Mans and the Loire Valley and did not miss a beat but it did create massive interest and attracted huge crowds. Imported from Scottsdale, Arizona in 2007 the car has had just three owners and has covered a mere 41,000 miles. Looks a lot of car for its estimate of £16,000-18,000.
For the same money, there's a nice and rare RHD 1967 Alfa Romeo Duetto Spider, which has been in the same ownership for 22 years. It has covered a mere 40,600 miles and been maintained to the highest standards.
