Bonhams Collectors Motor Cars and Automobilia sale in Oxford on 6 March 2010 follows a remarkable track record. Last year's sale was the first at Bonhams new Oxford salesroom, a 20,000 sq ft space considered one of the biggest single auction sites in Europe, and it achieved a total of £968,493, with over 98% of cars sold.
This year, highlights include a 1989 Ford RS200 (estimate £85,000-95,000), which is one of only 160 road cars, and a last of this line model; a 1930 Lea Francis W Type Special (estimate £20,000-30,000), restored four years ago and fitted with an attractive period style boat tail body, and a 1978 Aston Martin V8 (estimate £16,000-20,000).
Other exceptional lots are a 1971 Rolls-Royce Phantom VI Limousine (£30,000-40,000) and a 1978/2005 Ferrari P4 Spyder Recreation (£65,000-85,000).
