Coys is busy assembling a catalogue of interesting competition cars for its annual outing to the show, including the famous 1963 Deep Sanderson ‘Twinny’, powered by a Mini engine at each end, that was restored by its creator Chris Lawrence in time for the Goodwood Revival in 2008.
It’s estimated at £45-55,000. More serious racers are the 1971 Ferrari Gipsy-Dino P271 Interserie sports racer at £70-£90,000 and 1970 Porsche 911T rally car, with FIA papers (£30-£35,000). Two XK roadster barn finds are both left-hand drive and both claimed to have matching numbers, estimated at £15-20,000 for the 120 and £15-25,000 for the 140.
