JD Classics has restored, own and race-prepare several Listers for historic racing and examples of these legendary sports racing cars will be on show. Brian Lister will be giving a talk about the days when his engineering company built the cars and the works team was spear-headed by the brilliant Archie Scott Brown.

The monthly Sunday breakfast gatherings which started at JD Classics in June have been amazingly popular and the last one was attended by several hundred enthusiasts.

Many of the 30-strong J.D Classics team of staff and technicians will be available to give tours and answer questions. The Main Workshop, Race Workshop, five Showrooms, Trim Shop, Paint Shop and Engine Build Shop will all be open. Caterers will be on hand to provide bacon baps and such like.

So, if you want to know more about Listers from the man himself and enjoy a fascinating visit to the incredible JD Classics set-up, you need to be in Maldon, near Chelmsford in Essex on November 8.
