Following the successful running of the two-day Donington Historic Festival in 2011 and 2012, the event organisers have announced that the 2013 event will be even bigger – extending to three days.
Next year, the event is planned to run across Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the Bank Holiday weekend on 3-5 May. The event will be celebrating the career of Ayrton Senna - marking the 30th anniversary of the first time Senna ever got behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car and the 20th anniversary of his phenomenal display of mastery over the rain in the 1993 European Grand Prix at Donington.
Promising wheel-to-wheel action from cars of the 1920s right through to the 1980s, the Donington Historic Festival is once again looking like another must-attend historic motoring event taking place in the UK.
