Regent Street Motor Show preview

The largest free motor show in the UK, the Regent Street Motor Show promises to be better than ever this year

Regent Street Motor Show preview

Hosted on the same weekend as the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run and the RAC Future Car Challenge, on 3 November, the Royal Automobile Club will hold the Regent Street Motor Show, the largest free show in the UK.

The show promises to be bigger and better than ever. Regent Street will be closed all day, with a huge selection of cars from the last century of motoring. 100 pre-1905 vehicles will arrive for the prestigious EFG International Concours d'Elegance, as well as the low energy use vehicles arriving from Brighton.

Many of the retailers – such as Austin Reed – have been operating for over 100 years, and will be supporting the event by staying open until 10pm. Other attractions will include a selection of cars owned by Royal Automobile Club members.

There’s also plenty to interest the whole family at the show, with passenger rides in veteran cars, as well as future cars – or even drive an ECO simulator on the RAC stand. The main stage will be packed with celebrity interviews and entertainment and hosted by TV presenter, Louise Goodman. The celebrities on hand include actor Robert Llewellyn, Smooth Radio DJ Mark Goodier, Team GB swimmer Ross Davenport and Land Speed Record holder Don Wales.

The results for the nation’s favourite British car will be revealed. Cast your vote here, and enter into our competition to win VIP tickets for the event.
