During the May Day bank holiday on 7 May, Beaulieu will be holding a special cavalcade event to celebrate the opening of the National Motor Museum 40 years ago.
The organisers are looking for owners of interesting cars - built between 1972 and 2012 - to come forward and enter them into the '40 years of motoring' display. Participants get free entry into the museum, and vehicles taking part will be on display in the Beaulieu arena before taking part in a celebratory cavalcade around the Museum grounds. A special 40th anniversary ‘People’s Choice’ trophy will be awarded on the day.
