JD Classics, the renowned Jaguar specialists, is opening its expansive premises in Essex to enthusiasts for a series of weekend breakfast meetings during 2012. Given that the company is responsible for some of the best-known restored cars in the world, and its competition department houses a number of cars in varying stages of their restoration, there's going to be lots to see.
The format of the day is that the doors will open at 8.30am and close at 12.30pm - and visitors will have access to the showrooms as well as behind the behind the scenes work areas. That includes the competition department, service areas, and body and engine shops. JD will look after breakfast requirements, providing refreshments on the premises.
The first of these meetings is on Sunday 25 March, and Win Percy and Norman Dewis are expected to come along. Further Breakfast events are planned for 3 June and 28 October. If you're in a group of five or more cars, call Business Manager Richard Graylen on +44 (0)1621 879579. More at www.jdclassics.co.uk.
