E-types at the Silverstone Classic

If you're planning on coming to the Silverstone Classic on 23 July, take some time to visit Octane. We'll be on the top right hand corner of the E-type area, where it meets the Copse runway, and will be displaying the Eagle E-type, so you can have a closer look at this incredible reinterpretation of the 50-year old classic.

Of course, the Classic itself is brimming with interesting activities to keep you amused all weekend. There will be 800 historic race cars worth more than £300m covering F1, Le Mans, Group C, Sports and Touring car grids in 22 races - along with an expected 7000 classic cars on display from over 100 car clubs.

If you're into E-types, the organisers are planning a Guinness World record attempt at getting as many cars on track as possible for a parade to end them all.

Other highlights
·         Live music each day with Suzi Quatro, 10cc and Wishbone Ash on the Saturday night.
·         Air displays, demos, steam engine rally, fun fair, Lawn Mower GP & Pampering area
·         Jamie Oliver’s Fabulous Feast  and a huge retail village
·         See the new Silverstone Wing building up close.
