Even the rain couldn't dilute the 10th anniversary of the Classic British Welcome in Saint Saturnin. The small village just north of Le Mans opens its arms to French anglophiles and British enthusiasts on the eve of the annual 24 Hours every year with an eclectic selection of beautiful coupes, roadsters, GTs and plain old saloons.
Unsurprisingly being 50 years young, the Jaguar E-type was this years celebratory theme.
With drivers arriving mid morning, by late afternoon a selection of the participating cars eventually cruise to the town square of Le-Mans to act as chauffeurs for the drivers parade at 6pm. Basking in live music by a refreshing bar, you can while a way a pleasant afternoon before re-immersing yourself in the roar of the 24 hour race proper.
