The fourth running of the Klassikwelt Bodensee proved popular, attracting 43,000 visitors – who had flocked into see some spectacular cars and scenery. More than ten exhibition halls, packed with classic transportation machines on land, sea and air provided plenty to look at.

But it is also the perfect gathering of car enthusiasts travelling with their own classics. Every car gets an introduction by the presenter by arriving in the infield of the exhibition. So this is a kind of show within the show, which is dominated by the local club scene from the three adjoining countries with very nicely made displays.

Racing cars are sent on demonstration runs outside of the exhibition halls on a small handling track. A group of pre-war enthusiasts with their beautiful patinated British gear from the near Algäu going mostly sideways, touring cars and monoposti tried to do the same…
