Octane's Goodwood track day attracted drivers from as far afield as Holland and Germany, in a variety of cars that included no fewer than three superbly prepared Ford GT40 replicas, two Porsche 924 Carrera GTs, a competition-prepared Alfa Romeo GTV, a Humber Super Snipe and a Lotus Elise S1.

Fine weather and Goodwood's excellent catering added to a day that delighted all who attended, mainly because the amount of track time available was considerably more than than that provided at less exclusive track days.
