Entries are now being invited for the sixth annual Blenheim Palace Concours d'Elegance to be held on 17 July. Blenheim Palace is the home to the 11th Duke of Marlborough and was the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. It provides a stunning backdrop to the Concours.

Established in 2005, the Concours has established itself as a relaxed and extremely enjoyable date in the classic car calendar. The quality and number of entries in 2008 and 2009 especially surpassed all expectations, with over 150 cars gracing the lawns.

The Concours will take place in conjunction with Coys' Blenheim Palace Auction on Saturday 17 July and will be hosted once again by Octane magazine. Once again, the sale has a number of star lots in an impressive 59-car line-up.

Visit the Coys website for more information on the event and auction.

How to enter the concours

Entering your car in the concours couldn't be simpler. It's a relaxed and informal affair, so it's a case of just turning up with your prestigious classic or performance car. The concours judging starts at 12.00, so roll-up before then, and you'll be invited to the concours area.

Judging will take place after then, with the winner announced at the beginning of the classic car auction at 3.00pm.1
