The event was a resounding success, with over 1000 cars entering the circuit. With modern supercars by the Vitra Café and about 750 ‘themed’ cars stretching from Woodcote to Madgwick, all of the catering outlets were worked off their feet from 8.00am 'til noon.
As is the norm, Goodwood invited a couple of special cars in the tax free qualification - a Tesla Roadster and Ford Focus Econetic. The mix of classics was varied as ever, with American Hot Rod, muscle cars and a Studebaker to the humble BMW Isetta bubble car. Porsches were aplenty, and there were many Ferraris, from an Enzo to a Daytona. MGAs, MGBs, HRGs, Vauxhalls, Fords, Minis, Minors, Fiats, Lancias, Bristols, Jaguars, Rileys, Lambos plus many more...
This event gets exponentially bigger and better each year, and is fast becoming a motoring institution, just as the Festival and Revival have both done before.
