The Top Hat Masters Team kicked off the 2010 season with their annual two day test at Goodwood, as ever the assembled machinery was exotic and varied, and despite the Met Office weather forecast of heavy showers, the Goodwood weather gods provide two dry days of testing once the overnight dampness had disappeared.

The only single seater present was the 1964 F2 Brabham BT6 Ecurie France now owned by Will I’Anson, and the largest was the Chevrolet BelAir destined for the Fifties Saloon races driven by Doug Forbes of Castle Combe fame, though due to wheelnut problems the test was over after a handful of laps .
