We are delighted to offer this rare Morris Flatnose Cowley Doctors Coupe onto the market for the second time in eight years. We sold the Morris to a collector in the North East who has successfully completed the Beamish rally each year and has found the Morris to be reliable, usable and great fun to drive. Since 2006 the Cowley has covered in the region of 1500 miles and has been steadily improved over the years with re-chromed bumpers, re-painted wheels and over £2,000 was spent on a rebuilt cylinder head and various other works.
We originally sold the Morris for a York based customer who had owned the car for nine years using it for many local rallies and events. Going further back in the cars history, we know from the brown ‘buff' logbook that the Morris was registered in Warwickshire in 1949, changing hands several times with Leamington Spa before heading to Somerset in 1955. We believe the Morris was off the road for much of the 1970's and restored during the 1980's. We have MOT's dating back to 1987 when the mileage was 1240, suggesting the speedo may have been put back to zero on completion of restoration. The Morris now records 10,000 miles and with MOT documents to support
