1938-1939 MG WA specifications

1938-1939 MG WA specifications Classic and Performance Car

This was MG’s worthy attempt to move in on the luxury sports saloon market exploited by SS Jaguar. The war intervened before that many had been built. Available in saloon or Tickford-bodied drophead coupé, there are still roughly 25 survivors of each model worldwide. They turned out to be better appointed than the equivalent SS-Jaguars with lots of wood, leather and MG logos, and have better steering and road manners. Usually snapped up quickly when they come up for sale, add 20% to the prices given for one of those Tickford dropheads.
