This freshly rebuilt right hand drive MG TD was subject of a full nut and bolt restoration in the USA. The restoration was completed in 2013 and having covered just 36 miles, was sold to a buyer in the UK. Although the MG was in Texas, USA, it was in right hand drive format and a full restoration was carried out to a very high standard. The body was taken down to bare metal and re-painted and the wood frame re-conditioned with various new wood sections.
The interior was has been treated to new carpets, door cards and seats are in excellent order. The dashboard is excellent and all gauges work and are in excellent order. The car has just been treated to a brand new mohair hood and full set of sidescreens at the cost of over £3000 including specialist trimming. All chrome work was re-conditioned and is in excellent order. The grill, bumpers and chrome trims gleam and are in beautiful condition.
The 1250cc engine has been stripped, rebuilt and converted to run on unleaded fuel. The carburettor was rebuilt, as was the distributor and all ignition items replaced. The engine presents superbly and has been painted and detailed. The MG is stunning under the bonnet and ready to show. The ge
