1934 MG MGPA

car description

Just in! 1934 MG-PA ROADSTER # PA-2194. (Stock #3605.) Quite a collector’s item, , the cute little PA roadster was a “modernization” of the earlier “J-Type” roadster. Still with front cycle fenders and a “honeycomb” grill, the Pa was powered by the 847 cc, 4-cylinder engine from the J-Type, but now fitted with a hotter camshaft and twin SU carburetors, boosting the horsepower to a formidable level of 36. With an 87” wheelbase and not an over-abundance of coachwork, the little PA is certainly fun to drive. And, with its fold-down windscreen and competition Brooklands Screens, free standing headlamps with chrome stone guards, center driving lamp, tall 19” “knock-off” wire wheels with rear-mounted spare, the car has a quintessential vintage English sports car look which scores very high on the adorability scale. Our car is finished in British Racing Green with dark red leather and a wonderful display of vintage gauges in its facia. We sold this car more than 25 years ago and now have it back from the estate of that purchaser in the same excellent condition evident then. $58,000.
