Very rare MK1 Costello V8 Genesis for the MG B V8, shoehorning the Rover V8 into the MG B GT was the brain child of Ken Costello, an idea so good and a product so well executed that it was copied by MG themselves. Of the 225 Costello V8s 190 of the were GT bodied. A decision was taken in the early 2000s that best way to make repairs to the body was to replace it entirely, a replacement shell was sourced and the major mechanical parts were transferred to it. Unfortunately what remained of the orginial shell was destroyed by fire in 2003. There is a signed certificate of authenticity from Ken Costello in the accompanying history file. 140mph speedometer Rear boot spoiler Competition clutch with additional servo New bucket seats Correct MK1 Costello bonnet bulge Boot spoiler Minilite wheels Rally spotlights

This was a very well restored Midget, a car that was enjoyed on sunny days and smiled at by passers by and enthusiasts alike. Then it went to FRONTLINE. They took the Midget to the very edge of what can be done, it is now a breathtakingly quick sports car that darts from point to point like little else. It's tuned engine encourages you to rev it while remaining very easy to use at low speed. The 5 speed gearbox gives it long legs so it can cruise comfortably at speed. This is truly the best of both worlds. The level of finish both inside and out is as high a quality as possible. You wont be smiling, you'll be grinning from ear to ear.
