This is most certainly one of the best driving TD's we have ever owned. 837 YUA doesn't drive like the average TD out there, whilst it has all the usual 1950's characteristics, it just feels so much stronger and reliable, and is particularly easy to drive with an effortless feel. The car has many impressive upgrades such as a five speed gearbox, alternator, electronic ignition, and adding to the upgrades is a recent full restoration so this car feels tight, sharp, responsive, and most certainly better than a brand new one in 1953. This MG TD was brought into the UK around five years ago and has been subject of a comprehensive restoration. On arrival into the UK the MG was fully stripped down and the wood frame rebuilt as required. The main body rails, A posts, rear body rail, under dash and main dash section were all replaced with new timber. A brand new Ford Type 9 five speed gearbox along with a new propshaft, pedal box, RHD steering rack and full wiring harness were fitted and the engine stripped, checked and treated to new cam followers and camshaft. Mechanically our TD is first class and has had new brake seals all round, new brake cylinders, new master cylinder, new brake res
For sale due to upgrade my 1996 MGF 1.8, perfect mechanical condition and no money has been spared on this car in my ownership. MOT Until July 2017 Upgraded Leather/alcantara interior + 16" 6 spoke alloys. A fine example finished in Inca Yellow which was a standard factory colour. The mileage is warranted as I have all MOT Certificates. It had a sympathetic restoion back in 1997/8 and still looks good today. I have spent over £2000 on getting the mechanical side near perfect during the 2 years I have owned the car. Everything works as it should and the last MOT had no advisories. I am certain the first person to view will buy. Any questions please call on 07717 285740

Reserved Like Elvis or the Beatles, the MGB’s popularity seems to be eternal. And with good reason: by combining handsome roadster and GT bodywork with rugged BMC underpinnings, the ‘B is still more than capable of offering easy, trouble-free classic motoring today. In the decades following its 1962 launch, increasingly sophisticated competition made the ‘B look a little old hat. However, that is in its favour; with simple mechanicals, and unrivalled parts availability, there’s no reason why you can’t drive one all year round. Many owners already do. Supplied new by Cleveland Garages in Jersey and registered on the 04/07/1970, this low mileage MGB Roadster has only covered 84729 miles in the hands of the previous owners. Whilst it is a MK 3 MGB launched in September 1969 , it has been retro fitted with the chrome grill fitted to the MK 1 and MK 2 MGB’s until late 1969. The car is in overall good structural condition, it drives well, has a good interior, excellent hood, good wire wheels, although cosmetically some blistering to the paintwork on the wing seams, which is in otherwise is in very good condition, with the castle rails being in good condition. Mechanically the car runs we

The reason, likely, is that compared to the other British sports cars that were available, the MG usually came out as the most inexpensive. However, these cars had a lot to offer and still do to this day. What is arguably viewed as the most nostalgic of the MGs, is the MG B. These cars supplied the driver with loads of fun at a fraction of the price of a Jaguar or Austin Healey 3000. Introduced in 1962, the MGB served as the successor to the MGA, sporting a completely new monocoque design with more powerful 1.8L engine and better options. The MGB was a well-balanced two-seater that was affordable for the masses to enjoy and cherish. The most collectible of the MGBs span from their creation in 1962 up to 1967 as these are the examples are considered the purest forms of the nimble roadster. Especially the 1965-1967 as they are the only years to combine the early exterior looks with a meta
There has always been something special about an MGC GT. It may look like an ordinary BGT, but that subtle bulge in the bonnet and that glorious 6 cylinder engine make them very special cars. This particular car was completed in January 2014 having been completely rebuilt by MG Motorsport to the special order of a very discerning customer, with the aim to produce the very best possible MGC GT. This car is features stunning Tartan Red paintwork, with looks sensational whether the sun is shining or not! The car is fitted with 15 inch chrome wire wheels and all new exterior chrome. Inside the car is fitted with black leather reclining seats with headrests, which makes driving and enjoying the car a much more comfortable experience. The rest of the interior is all brand new, and perhaps even better than when it left the factory, with greater quality parts and build quality! This car is fitted with a lovely Moto-Lita leather-bound steering wheel. The car received many mechanical upgrades during its build, including a 5 speed manual gearbox with a high ratio first gear and uprated laygear, far superior ball joint front suspension with poly-bushes all-round, high ratio steering rack, electronic ignition and a fast road engine. The engine upgrade results in approximately 40-45% increase in power and torque. Every aspect of the car is absolutely outstanding having been restored on a rotisserie, with the underside just as good as the rest of it, just have a look at the photos! Sadly, or happily for us, the elderly discerning owner found the process of getting in and out of this car rather difficult following a knee operation and he bought one of our glorious Pagodas instead. In short, everything in the car has been replaced with a new item, or upgraded making it a sensational long distance cruise. Having covered just 4,000 miles since the rebuilt and having been described by renowned specialists MG Motorsport as 'Probably the best MGC GT in the world', it is now available at considerably less than its build cost! It really must been seen to be appreciated!

HST 50N is a car we known for over ten years. This late chrome bumper car was subject of a full Heritage Shell rebuild during the late 1990's and was finished to an exceptionally high standard. Almost twenty years on since rebuild the MG still drives and presents in outstanding condition and paperwork suggests the car has covered 14000 miles since total restoration. Prior to 2007 the MGB was owned by a East Yorkshire based enthusiast and restorer who had taken the car to France during summer months, proving the car ideal for long distance touring. We bought the car in 2007 and it quickly sold unseen to an Aberdeen based customer. The vehicle sold over the telephone, and was later collected and drive faultlessly from North Yorkshire to Aberdeen. During three years of ownership the B was in regular summer use and successfully completed the Hero Scottish Malts Reliability trial. In 2010 HST 50N came back to us in part exchange, making room for a Lotus Elan and the car once again sold fairly quickly, this time heading to West Yorkshire where it has spent the past six years, never missing a beat and proving perfectly reliable. HST 50N so many years on from rebuild has an exceptional, ru

We last sold URF 399G in May 2007 and have maintained it for its lady owner since. Prior to 2007, the MG had one owner from 1994 to 2007 and was subject of a major restoration in 2000. The car had very little use between 2000 and 2007 and since selling the car nine years the MG has covered in the region of 4000 miles. The MG has been based in Whitby since 2007 and has only been driven in good, dry weather. It has hardly had the roof up, and has been enjoyed each summer. Over nine have come to know the car very well, MOT testing and servicing each year. In the region of £5500 has been spent on good quality annual maintenance and some cosmetic improvement. Work includes rebuilding carburettors, new rear exhaust silencer, stripping and cleaning brake calipers, new bump stops, 12 volt battery conversion, lower wishbones, front brake pads, brake shoes, steering universal joint and new spring bushes. The cars most recent service in 2016 included new spark plugs distributor cap, points, rotor arm, condenser, gearbox and engine oil change. The MG was driven back to us from Whitby performing faultlessly. The engine runs beautifully holding excellent oil pressure, the gearbox is slick and th
This beautifully presented MG TF 1250 was supplied new in North America. During the 1980's the MG was shipped to the UK and subject of a top class, professional restoration and right hand drive conversion. The TF was completed by 1989, finished in bright Red with lovely Tan leather upholstery, Beige weather equipment and chrome wire wheels. The car was finished to a high standard and during the 1990's and 2000's has featured at many shows, rallies and events in both England and Wales. The car originally came to us in 2008 having spent many years on the Welsh show scene. The car required very little preparation work and quickly sold to a local MG enthusiast near York. Between 2008 and 2015 the MG has proven totally reliable and has travelled all over North Yorkshire to many classic car shows. Over several years of regular use, the owner spent almost £5,000 on further improvements to include a full engine rebuild. The MG was treated to new main and big end bearings and shells, new camshaft, new pistons and piston ring set, oil pump, cam bearing, re-ground crankshaft and all new gaskets. Further expenditure included regular maintenance. Over the past twelve months the MG has not been
This outstanding MG TD was manufactured in 1952 and was registered new in the United States of America. The MG was shipped to the UK in 1990 having been in Minnesota and in the 25 years since coming to the UK the MG has covered over 18000 miles. The MG spent from 1990 to 2014 in the South West and has most recently been owned by a long term customer of ours in Peacehaven, East Sussex. Not only has the MG had substantial use over the 25 years in the UK, it was also used for an Exeter investment Company marketing campaign, featuring on the front cover of their brochure and featuring in many newspaper advertisements. YSU 197 has come to us in exceptional condition and has been restored to a very high standard. The first restoration we are aware of was back in 1985-1986 over in the U.S. At this point the car was totally stripped down, re-worked as necessary and totally re-painted. We have a report from the early 1990's confirming the MG had covered around 1500 miles since and was in very good order. All components and parts were replaced or overhauled and it was reported there was no rust visible on the car. We have invoices for various remedial works in the early 1990's and annual mil
