The vast engine bay appears in excellent condition under our studio lighting. The 3.2-litre V6 idles up to temperature nicely and punches out a respectable 228hp at 5600rpm. On closer inspection the under-bonnet components appear in great shape throughout, with nothing untoward to speak of for a car of this age. Despite its low mileage the SL boasts a good maintenance record, and so unsurprisingly remains in fine mechanical fettle. It will be sold freshly serviced.
