POA The 107 series were the last of the hand built Mercedes from Stuttgart, renowned for their durability and strength, they have become increasingly sought after in recent years, with low mileage examples well cared for examples fetching in excess of £40K. Launched in 1971, the Mercedes 107 series immediately became a best seller in European and US markets, with a design reminiscent in some respects of the earlier Pagoda SL. A range of models was offered during the 18 year life of the 107, with the new 5 litre being launched in 1980, which was enhanced over the next 5 years culminating in the last year of manufacture of 1989, being the 5.6 litre 560 SL for sale here. The 380 SL carried a 3.8 -litre V-8 under its long bonnet. The V8-cam, fuel-injected engine produced 197 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and 211 foot-pounds of torque at 4,000 rpm. Power was directed to the rear wheels by manual or automatic transmission. The 380 SL could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in approximately 9 seconds, which was reasonably quick in its day. It had a top speed of about 134 mph. The SL employed disc brakes with ABS at all four corners, which was not yet common in the late 1980s. The car had a double-wis

--Midnight Blue with Palomino Tan leather interior, Tan carpeting and Blue cloth convertible top, 60,000 miles from new, Four-speed Automatic, Factory Midnight Blue hard top. First introduced in 1980, the 380SL was the latest in a long line of sporting roadsters from Mercedes Benz that combined V-8 power, refined luxury, and open-top motoring. Compared to the predecessor 450SL the 380SL’s smaller 3.8 Liter V-8 engine was tuned for efficiency, not performance. However, the weight savings of the smaller block resulted in similar performance numbers making the 155HP 380SL a popular car during its five-year production run. This exceptional 380SL is a 3-owner example from new and has seen only seasonal usage over the last 20 years. It is equipped with both tops, a Becker Grand Prix radio and comes with all the original books, manuals, and tools. It recently received a maintenance service including oil change, A/C refresh, and a new battery. It has been meticulously maintained and cared for and includes service records since new including documented correction of the common timing chain issue. With its classic lines, sporty demeanor, V-8 power and unrivalled service history, this 380SL i
Lowered price from €17.950 -> €15.950 The Mercedes-Benz SL is a grand tourer manufactured by Mercedes since 1954. The designation SL derives from the German Sport Leicht, or Sport Lightweight &mdash, and was first applied to the 300SL, often referred to as the 'Gullwing' due to its gullwing or upward-opening doors. The term SL-Class refers to the marketing variations of the vehicle, including the numerous engine configurations spanning six design generations 1972 to 1989. (SOLD) This 1982 380SL is a low-mileage, exceptionally well-maintained example with a trove of service records. And with fewer than 100,000 miles on the clock, this Benz is just getting broken in. The signal red is an elegant color for conservative Mercedes-Benz but on this little roadster it's the perfect choice and compliments the car's spirited performance. Both the soft top and hard top are, of course, included. The interior is all original and has held up well. The seats are clad in MB-Tex and show very well with no splits, holes or tears. The red with palomino interior is a great color combination, and a refreshing change from the sea of beige SLs on the market. The famous Mercedes-Benz alloy wheels remain in good condition wearing a set of modern black wall radials. The highly original engine bay shows signs of regular maintenance and that's about all these cars need to be reliable for many thousands of miles. The 4-speed automatic clicks through the gears in a businesslike fashion while the all-independent suspension soaks up bumps with a well-damped thump while still remaining sporting enough to be entertaining on a twisty country road.
