The fifth generation of the legendary SL series, made by Mercedes-Benz, was known as the R230. It featured a fully retractable hardtop that was marketed as the Vario Roof- a first for the SL class although it had been available on the smaller SLK model since 1997. Supplied new to Mr. Dennis Senior of Henley-on-Thames by Motorworld of Oxford in 1979, this very collectable, two-owner, 350 SL has covered 59,000 miles from new and is presented in Navy Blue with a contrasting cream interior.
