Another tour de force from Mercedes-Benz, the 250 SE was designed for buyers who had clearly made a success of their lives but were looking only to make a statement of refinement. Long, low and hand-built coachwork coupled with the modernised fuel injected 6 cylinder power train proved an intoxicating mix and in 1965 the 250 SE received an enormous amount of praise from the worlds motoring media. The dash fascia is fashioned by cabinet makers in walnut and wrapped in the finest hides to hold beautiful and easily readable instrumentation, including a rev counter. All body panelling and chrome trim is fabricated by hand and from the outside-in, small design touches make this perfect classic that much more special. Australian delivered to North Balwyn, Victoria in 1967 this beautiful example has a complete Mercedes-Benz service history from new. Maintained to the highest standards, this car has also received an interior restoration by Garry Blackman, arguably one of Australia′s best trimmers. Only ever produced in small numbers, 235 in RHD and only 86 delivered to Australian shores makes this stunning 250 SE a rare, hand-built and exceptional classic. More information? Please call us
