1992-2002 MAZDA RX-7 Series 3 specificationshttp://www.classicandperformancecar.comClassic and Performance CarClassic and Performance Car
For the third generation, Mazda got serious. This can now be considered an uncompromising, hardcore sport car, with heaps more power from a twin-turbo ‘13B’ rotary engine – 252bhp going up to 280bhp in late examples. With a low centre of gravity and perfect weight distribution, it’s no surprise that their handling has been highly praised. Not that many were sold in the UK by Mazda, but their numbers have been more than doubled by ‘grey’ imports, so take care that you actually know which of the many specs of car you are looking at.
