1993-1993 LOTUS Esprit Sport 300 specifications

1993-1993 LOTUS Esprit Sport 300 specifications Classic and Performance Car

Developed from the race car, the Esprit 300 Sport is distinct due to its new front airdam and rear spoiler, plus flared arches. A lighter weight composite body helps to shave 91kg off the weight compared to a standard Esprit and it’s stiffer too, as is the backbone chassis. Brakes and suspension are uprated and thanks to a hybrid T3/T4 turbo and more efficient chargecooler, power from the 2.2-litre engine goes up to 300bhp – hence the name. Fittings are in place for a rollcage and race seats. Just 50 examples were built.
