  • 1976 Porsche 934 "Turbo RSR"

    POA

930 670 0177 was delivered to the French Porsche importer Sonauto after having been ordered by Henri Cachia, he purchased it to take part in the 24H of Le Mans. It was to be the first of six starts on the mythical straight of Le Mans, amazingly this car was never upgraded to 935 spec, something that happened to most 934s back in the days. In 1981 the car even won its class (Group 4 - GT) finishing 17th over all! Today the car is represented in the striking JMS racing team “Xray” livery that it wore during the 1977 24H of Le Mans event. The graphic design was sponsored and executed by 3M who showed off their skills and how the cut vinyl could create fabulous racing liveries without painting the car. The ownership trail and the Le Mans entries of 930 670 0177 are fully documented with original weighing documents from the Le Mans archives, copies of the owners French road registration titles, customs documents and bills of sale. The engine fitted inside the car is the original matching numbers engine * 676 2027 * which was recently completely overhauled and purchased in Portugal and it's now again reunited with 930 670 0177. With its 1977 livery back on the car, 930 670 0177 was displ

  • Citroën DS21 Cabriolet d'Usine '66

    €159,950(£139,700.33)

Lowered price from €165.000 -> €159.950! After 18 years of development in secret as the successor to the venerable Traction Avant, the DS 19 was introduced on 5 October 1955 at the Paris Motor Show. The car's appearance and innovative engineering captured the imagination of the public and the automobile industry almost overnight. In the first 15 minutes of the show 743 orders were taken, and orders for the first day totalled 12,000. Far from being just a fascinating technology in search of a purpose, contemporary journalists were effusive in noting how the DS dramatically pushed the envelope in the ride vs. handling compromise possible in a motor vehicle. To a France still deep in reconstruction after the devastation of WW II, and also building its identity in the post-colonial world, the DS motor car was a symbol of French ingenuity. It defied virtually every automotive design convention of that era. It also posited the nation's relevance in the Space Age, during the global race for technology of the Cold War. The high price tag, however, hurt general sales in a country still recovering from WW II, and a cheaper submodel, the Citroën ID, was introduced in 1957. The ID shared the D

  • Renault Monaquatre '35

    €14,950(£13,057.33)

The Monaquatre was assembled between 1931 and 1936. It was a family car built conventionally with a front-mounted engine and rear-wheel drive. Launched in October 1931, the Monaquatre was similar in design to the larger Primaquatre with which it shared its 2,650 mm (104.3 in) wheelbase. At the 1932 Paris Motor Show the new Type YN1 version appeared, and afterwards the YN 2 and the engine increased from 1289 cc to 1463 cc. The YN2 was produced during 3 months only before it was replaced by the YN3 in 1934. In September 1935 the production of the final version, the Type YN4, ceased like models 1936 Type YN4. The Monaquatre was replaced by the Renault Celtaquatre. >>>>> Oldtimerfarm is going to renovate! Due to renovations we are currently publishing less pictures per car on our website. • Jaguar XJR-9

    POA

Mayfair 020 7125 1400 | Maldon 01621 879579 1988 Jaguar XJR-9 The XJR-9 is sports prototype racing car built by TWR and Jaguar to compete in the FIA Group C and IMSA Camel GTP race series. It was designed by Tony Southgate, constructed by TWR and utilised a 7.0 Litre V12 Jaguar engine. Its debut was at the 24 hours of Daytona held over 1st and 2nd of February 1988 where it scored an outright victory. Further successes were achieved in the World Sports Prototype Championship where the Silk Cut liveried cars took six victories over the eleven race series, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which was enough to secure the team championship. The car offered is the sixth and final new XJR-9 built by TWR in 1988 and was introduced mid-season to replace the Le Mans winner, chassis 488, which was retired after its victory. For the majority of the 1988 season it was piloted by Jan Lammers and Johnny Dumfries, although Martin Brundle also drove the car at Spa. The first race for Chassis 688 was round six of the Championship, held at Brno on July 10th, where Lammers and Dumfries qualified 5th but took a tremendous 3rd just behind Brundle and Neilson in Chassis 588. Round seven was held two wee

  • 1970 Jaguar XJ6 Series I 2.8 Manual with Overdrive

    £18,995

HWB 685J was manufactured on the 15th December 1970 and left the factory in Light Blue with Dark Blue leather. This Series I 2.8 was ordered with manual transmission and overdrive and today is totally standard, in original specification with matching numbers. The Jaguar was distributed by Ernest W Hatfield Ltd, Sheffield and the car has been based in Yorkshire from new until we sold the car to its most recent owner in Leicester in 2015. The V5 records just four owners from new and the car has covered an ultra low mileage of 45,000 with documentation to support this. The Jaguar has come to us in beautiful original condition and from inspecting the car on one our ramps we can see the vehicle has had no welding work and is totally original underneath. This is incredibly rare to see, particularly on a car of this era that was prone to rust. From looking at the original underbody and general bodywork we can see this car has been garaged from new and we know from the history that the car has covered ultra low mileage over the years. The panels are particularly straight and the Light Blue paintwork is of a lovely standard. The chrome work is bright, the general presentation of the car is
