This vehicle was completely stripped and rebuilt in 2001 by a fastidious Land Rover enthusiast and engineer for his personal use. His aim was to build a Land Rover to outlast me the parts alone cost in excess of £12,000.00. These included the following: Galvanized original chassis (painted black) Galvanized bulkhead. 200 TDI engine with Zeus timing gear (no timing belt to change, ever!) Front and Rear Anti Roll Bars. New Discs, Callipers and Pads. Galvanized Exhaust. New Back Body, Tailgate and Truck Cab. New Aluminium (Military Wolf) Door tops with double sliders and tinted glass, New door bottoms (recessed handles) NAS Door cards with inbuilt speakers and map pocket. New Hood, Mantec Extra Fuel Tank, Safari Snorkel, Galvanized steering guard, Nato Tow Hitch together with Detachable Ball Hitch. Two Spare wheel mounts, One on the Bonnet and one recessed in the back body. Back body protective lined. Military Lamps all round (For ease of bulb changing) Battery cut off and hidden immobiliser switch, Dashboard mounted Radio. All Nuts and Bolts replaced with Stainless steel ones.
