Silverstone Auctions has un-earthed an as-new Lancia Delta Integrale, which is to be offered at the Race Retro sale on 21-22 February.
A Lancia Delta Integrale with a mere 31 miles on the clock has been consigned to Silverstone Auctions’ Race Retro sale on 21-22 February. Being a rare model, and in as new condition, an estimate of £90,000-£100,000 has been put on the car.
Bought new in 1992, the Martini special edition car was produced to celebrate the company’s success in the World Rally Championship – featuring white paint and a set of Martini stripes. Mechanically it’s the same as the standard 210bhp Evoluzione model.
With 31 miles on the clock, this is one of the lowest mileage Integrales around, and has in fact only been driven on the road once – from the supplying dealer, to the first owner’s storage facility. It represents a rare opportunity to get hold of what is effectively a brand new Integrale.
This car is number 124 of 400 Martini cars that were built to celebrate the team’s fifth consecutive WRC win. Differences marking the special edition include white wheels, black bonnet vents, an Alcantara interior and red seatbelts – as well as the obvious Martini stripes down the side.
‘As a limited edition special, produced to celebrate the Integrale’s success in the World Rally Championship, these cars are incredibly rare indeed,’ comments Guy Lees-Milne, General Manager, Silverstone Auctions. ‘So, to find such a perfect example with just a few miles on the clock really is an exceptional feat. What’s more, there are few surroundings more appropriate than Race Retro to offer the car for sale.’
