An example of Lamborghini’s most extreme car to date, the Sesto Elemento, has gone up for sale online.
An unused Lamborghini Sesto Elemento has gone up for sale online for £1.9 million.
The 999kg car, on sale on 6speedonline.com, has clocked up just 12 miles since its release in 2011, and is thought to be the first of the 20 examples produced go up for resale.
The Sesto Elemento is dubbed Lamborghini’s most hardcore car to date, making use of its Gallardo-sourced LP560-4’s naturally aspirated V10 engine to launch from 0-62mph in 2.5 seconds. Its 999kg weight amounts to a power-to-weight ratio of 570bhp/ton.
The Sesto Elemento’s one-piece carbon fibre monocoque features a fixed driving position, with drivers having to move the pedals and steering wheel towards them. This ensures a lower centre of gravity and exceptional handling.
The car is thought to be the only Sesto Elemento on sale anywhere in the world right now, and has gained 30% in value since its launch at the Paris Motor Show four years ago.
