The Murcielago Roadster was introduced in 2004. The car's roofline clearly shows the priorities in the design process as an open top car. Its straight-cut windows draw a beautifully clean line from the top of the windshield to its wide rear haunches. It employs a manually attached soft roof as cover from adverse weather. The designer supposedly drew inspiration from the B-2 stealth bomber, the Wally 118 WallyPower yacht, and architect Santiago Calatrava's Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciencies in Valencia, Spain as his inspiration for the roadster's revised rear pillars and engine cover. Finished in optional Nero Pegaso metallic paint. The car has the E-Gear gearbox, carbon wind deflector and a Capristo sports exhaust system. Nero leather interior.
