1966-1974 JENSEN Interceptor specifications

One of the biggest and best British bruisers of the luxury Grand Tourer world 1966’s Interceptor propelled Jensen into the limelight. The handsome lines were styled by Touring of Milan and initially, the bodies (steel now instead of glassfibre) were built by Vignale in Italy before Jensen switched production to the UK. The standard car’s most distinctive feature was a curved glass hatchback but even without this it was still a very eye-catching and imposing creation, as the accompanying convertibles and notchback coupé proved.
