(SOLD) This specific E-type has had the same owner for the last 38 years. Recently, British car specialists completely disassembled, stripped to bare metal and painted silver to concours standards. There’s been an exceptional attention to underbody detail with all new rubber and chrome plating as necessary. The interior was refurbished when the car was painted and includes new leather, new carpet, new trunk mat, and new interior trim material. The top was replaced with a new cloth top and with new cloth boot. The car was completely repainted, color sanded and buffed, and all of the major mechanical components were removed and rebuilt or replaced as necessary. The components were detailed to concours standards before reassembly. The original matching number engine is fitted to the car, and was completely rebuilt using hardened seats in for the acceptance of non-leaded fuel and reliability.
