(SOLD) According to its accompanying Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate, this highly desirable Series I 4.2-liter E-type roadster was completed by Jaguar on 24 April 1967. On 11 May, it was dispatched to the Belgian Motor Co. of Brussels, Belgium, and its first recorded owner was one CHA Wright, a resident of Brussels at the time. Most recently, the E-Type was restored by the marque specialists, Classic Showcase located in Oceanside, California. Included in the restoration process was a complete body fit and repaint in a base coat, clear coat finish, which was color sanded and buffed; the bright work was rechromed as necessary, and all mechanical systems serviced and restored as needed. The newly fitted Grey interior is highlighted by matching leather seat upholstery and a radio blanking plate. Under the bonnet, the powerful 4.2-liter DOHC XKE ‘six’ is fitted with triple SU carburetors, mated to a fully-synchronized gearbox, and enhanced by a new aluminum radiator with auxiliary fan and a new header tank. A black cloth top and matching boot, fresh Pirelli P4000 radial tires, and 6 x 15 chrome wire wheels provide the final touches for increased driving pleasure. Consistently
