This numbers matching 1967 Series 1 E-Type roadster is believed to have only 36,210 original miles. This car was one of these last Series I’s produced, leaving the Browns Lane factory on March 20, 1967. Hanley Kleeman of Indianapolis, Indiana purchased the car new on November 21, 1967 and the Kleeman family owned it for the next 47 years, having the car repainted in the original color in the 1980’s and used the car sparingly the entire time. In 2013, the car was purchased from the Kleeman family and prepared to go back on the road with $10,000 being spent in that process. In April of 2014, the car returned to use, then with a total of just more than 35,000 miles. The original owner’s manual set with the car’s original warranty endorsed to Hanley Kleeman, service vouchers, operating, maintenance and service handbook, etc. has stayed with the car through its 47 years.
