It was owned by a member of the San Diego Jaguar Club who kept it in its original color of opalescent blue. The “J67” plate is affixed near the data plate which only occurs in California, thus verifying it’s a California vehicle. It also has it original smog exempt sticker on the windshield. Since this Jaguar was always well maintained, it makes it a great candidate for restoration to a Show/Driver or a Show level. Classic Showcase has scheduled this 1966 Jaguar XKE Series I 4.2 OTS to be taken to a Show/Driver level restoration in the near future; Included in the restoration process the vehicle will be stripped to bare metal, placed on a rotisserie, metal finished, leaded, all body parts fitted to the car and chrome, prepared for primer, sealer, paint, base, clear, color sanded and buffed to a fabulous finish.
