This very original, single-family owned E-Type was built in March of 1967, and dispatched in June later that year. It is an original, numbers-matching car with 62,069 miles that was the subject of a restoration by Jaguar professionals, and has just completed a recent servicing. It retains its original California black plates, and presents in a truly stunning color combo of Opalescent Maroon, fit with a Black interior with matching soft top and boot. Since the restoration, it has been driven sparingly and is in excellent running & driving condition. Some would consider this a Series 1 *or* a Series 1.5, with the only difference being the use of open or closed headlights, which were a result of Jaguar's beginning transition from the Series 1 to the Series 2 XKE models. While this 1967 example features open headlights, it does retains the significant Series 1 features such as triple carburetors and toggle switches. This exceptional E-Type example stands as a highly collectible model that is a great investment grade classic that is ready for the show circuit, or just be driven and enjoyed.
