I have wanted one of these from when they were first launched in 1997. Grace , Pace and Space is what a Jaguar should be and the XJR put the emphasis on the Pace. With the new Supercharged 4 litre V8 the XJR took the fight to the BMW M5. With Ford money and know how now behind Jaguar, the XJR was a quality product and this wonderful example looks as good today as it did when launched.
Originally supplied in late 1999 to a Businessman in Cheltenham by H.A Fox it was a treat to himself and was used for special occasions only being garaged from new and only covering 12,000 miles in his 6 years of ownership. Thankfully the next owner was a Jaguar enthusiast and whilst he clocked a few more miles, she wanted for nothing. Always serviced on the nail, the fact that the car has been cossetted is easy to see from its wonderul condition today.
The wheels and paintwork are unmarked and having the optional mudflaps fitted has saved the paintwork from damage. Currently this wonderful Jaguar resided in my personal collection and I am only prepared to relinquish ownership to pursue another love. I know I am going to find it almost impossible to find an example as good as this. Beautiful.
