1994-1997 JAGUAR XJR 4.0 Supercharged (X300) specificationshttp://www.classicandperformancecar.comClassic and Performance CarClassic and Performance Car
Mechanically similar to the XJ40, the styling of Jaguar’s next generation reverted to something similar to the earlier XJ models, with the trademark curvaceous bonnet and quad round headlamps making a return. The X300 also made huge steps forward in terms of build quality and reliability, and buyers lapped it up. The pride of the fleet was the XJR, which thanks to the addition of a supercharger to Jaguar’s straight-six developed BMW M5 rivalling power. Manual versions are rare and desirable and well worth seeking out.
