About this Jaguar XJ R V8 SUPERCHARGED The ultimate 'wolf in sheep's clothing', the XJR differed externally from its normally aspirated siblings minimally - a mesh radiator grill, 18" alloys and a badge on the boot being about the only clues. But on the road, the 370bhp created by supercharging the AJ-V8 engine meant blistering performance which belied its conservative looks. The ultimate sports saloon in its day, these superb cars are now terrific value for money - this particular car being a case in point. This example came to us in part exchange from a long standing customer of ours who is particularly choosy about his cars. Needless to say, it is in near pristine condition and is backed up by a wealth of service history with 12 jaguar service stamps in the book and a thick pile of invoices to support.
