1959-1967 JAGUAR Mk2 3.8 specifications

1959-1967 JAGUAR Mk2 3.8 specifications Classic and Performance Car

The new flagship in the mid-sized saloon line-up certainly proved popular and profitable for Jaguar. But with a 125mph top speed and throttle-adjustable handling, the 3.8 became the car of choice for enthusiastic drivers. A limited-slip differential improved traction and controllability, while power assisted steering (a standard fitment from 1960) further improved the way the car drove. Considered the best of all Mk2s and market values reflect this, but some would argue that it’s too high a premium for what is in effect a 10bhp upgrade.
