The condition is simply stunning and the interior is un-touched, deliciously mellowed, and original. It has covered only 76,661 miles from new and it has a superbly well-documented service history tracking this E-Type’s entire pampered life. The history is further supported and enhanced by the cars appearances in a number of publications including a lovely colour feature, about both the car and its owner, in Sports Car International during 2004. In February of 2013 it was the cover car in Classic Cars magazine and became the feature writer, John Simisters, favourite car. The owner has always been a passionate sports car aficionado and confirms that he has driven the car regularly but sparingly. It has been a cherished car from the day of first purchase and has been proudly displayed at a number of concours events over the years. Unsurprisingly, he had the car repainted in the 80’s because the original metallic paint declines naturally and prematurely to a dull finish.
