Series 1 Jaguar E-type 3.8 FHC in Opalescent Silver Grey with Black interior trim. Dutch EU registration, matching numbers engine with only 34.800 original miles. A discovery, for the first time on the market since a long term ownership of 20 years.
This car was produced on the 27th of March 1964 in Opalescent Silver Grey with black interior trim. Dispatched on the 7th of April 1964 through Jaguar Cars, New York USA to its first owner S.A. Steere jr. In 1997 this E-type was imported into the Netherlands where it was sold through an auction to its last long term Dutch owner.
Extremely original car that has only had an outside respray a long time ago. Fully original interior trim stil in extremely good condition. The factory chalk marks of the body number are still visible on the front bulkhead and in the rear on the panel above the rear axle. Always garaged indoors and driven sparingly, well maintained and kept in very good technical condition over the last 20 years by its long term owner.
The car is fitted with a later all-synchro E-type gearbox for comfortable driving and a modern electric cooling fan. Furthermore the car is in a stunning original condition, a real delight to see such a beautiful original car amongst all restored examples in todays market. Unique with only 34.800 miles on the clock. Perfect factory original panel gaps. Since this is a late 3.8 model the dashboard centre console is covered in black trim and a centre armrest is fitted by the factory.
Matching numbers engine, still in its original delivery colour combination and comes with a Hertitage Certificate and history. Currently on Dutch EU registration, recent full service and ready to be enjoyed.
