Driving cars on ice can be a lot of fun, and JLR is now offering classic driving experiences at the company's winter testing facility in Sweden
Jaguar Land Rover Classic is offering a new customer experience, Classic Ice Driving in Jaguar XJ, Mk2, MkVII and XK150, Land Rover Series I, II and III, and Range Rover Classic.
The ice driving will take place at the famous Jaguar Land Rover winter testing facility in Arjeplog in northern Sweden from early 2017, with bookings already being taken. Instructors will be on hand to teach participants the art of ice driving, and current vehicles including F-Pace, F-Type and Range Rover Sport will also be available to drive on the ice.
All the classics belong to Jaguar Land Rover Classic, and many have already seen action around the world – the MkVII for example was prepared for last year's Mille Miglia.
The three-day experience will cost €3000, which includes two nights' accommodation at Hotel Silverhatten, VIP transfers on arrival from Arvidsjaur Airport and professional ice-driving tuition. Flights aren't included in the price.
