1968-1970 JAGUAR E-type S1.5/S2 Coupe specifications

1968-1970 JAGUAR E-type S1.5/S2 Coupe specifications Classic and Performance Car

-

Featuring all the changes made to the Roadsters, the main point of note about this series of coupés is that they are the rarest model of all the E-types. Not that that makes them any more valuable in this case. Having lost sales to the 2+2, fewer than 5000 were built, and the writing was on the wall for the shorter wheelbase coupé body style. The wire wheel locating nuts lost their ‘ears’ from March 1969 for safety legislation reasons, though as they are more aesthetically pleasing, you may find that eared spinners have been substituted at some point.
