Starting life as a 1961 E-type tub, this E-type was the personal project of James Smith and the team at RS Panels for his father Bob Smith, founder of RS Panels. Numbered RSP 003, this E-type received an all new aluminum body shell to original Lightweight E-type specifications. It was completed in November 2006 after several years in the build process to ensure it would be one of the finest most exacting E-type Lightweight recreations, able to receive its FIA papers and thus acknowledged and eligible for some of the finest touring and racing events in the world, including the Goodwood Revival. This Lightweight E-Type has all the correct period parts and comes with current Historic Technical Passport/FIA papers as stated above.
